Rooted in Curiosity, Grown with Care

Three Petals Homeschool began not with a perfect plan, but with a deep need to slow down—really slow down—and pay attention to what matters. It grew from the soil of long days spent with my children, from muddy creek walks and story-strewn afternoons, from questions asked in the quiet and answers found in the doing. This is not a place for perfection—it’s a place for presence.

With a background in early childhood education and a lifelong love of storytelling, gardening, and observing the world closely, I created this space as a gentle alternative to the pressure, noise, and comparison that often sneak into childhood and education. Here, we center the child. We honor the home. And we root the learning in everyday moments that matter.

Three Petals is more than a homeschool—it’s a philosophy. We believe that learning is not something we deliver to children, but something they discover through connection: with the natural world, with their families, and with themselves. Whether it’s reading aloud on a rainy morning, tending to seedlings in the garden, or navigating big feelings through story, the learning here is living and real.

Our approach blends play-based early academics, social-emotional growth, and hands-on experiences in a way that supports the whole child. We’re not interested in racing through grade levels—we’re here to cultivate a lifelong love of learning, one slow and steady season at a time.

Through the materials I create—SEL stories, journals, assessments, and nature-connected printables—I hope to offer other families the tools to create rhythm, meaning, and joy in their own homeschool journey. These resources are designed to be flexible, multi-grade, and anchored in both developmental insight and lived experience.

If you’ve been looking for a quieter way to educate, a path rooted in relationship, a place where both you and your children can feel seen—you’re not alone. This is that place. I’m so glad you’re here..

With wonder, warmth, and wildflowers —
